Typical Cheshire cottage built in 1863 for the Duke of Westminster's estate workers. © Copyright Devon Rex and licensed for reuse under this Creative Commons Licence Our well kept village lies in the countryside of Cheshire, just a few miles south of the Roman city of Chester.

The main focal points are our beautiful church, the Red Lion, our School, and of course no village would be complete without its village shop and post office.

Have a wander around, there's lots of interesting information about Dodleston village and the surrounding area.

I hope you like the new look Dodleston Website. On behalf of everyone in Dodleston I would like to thank Alan Roberts for all the time and effort he has put into the old web site over the years. Please keep coming back as it will keep evolving. Groups and individuals will be invited to add content shortly.

About me.
At the 2012 Village Day I asked Alan if he would consider letting me take over the dodleston.com website as I live in Dodleston and as a professional Web Developer I can bring some new ideas and functions to make the site even more useful. Steve Brown
